About Tim Roos Advocatuur

Tim Roos Advocatuur is the name of the new law firm under which Tim Roos practices law as of 1 January 2022. Tim Roos has been a lawyer in Rotterdam since 1986 and specialises in inland water navigation law (collisions, shipbuilding, P&I, cargo damages, insurance disputes etc.). He is a member of the editorial board of Schip & Schade, the magazine that publishes court rulings in transport law cases, and a member of the IVR legal committee. His clients are marine insurers, ship and insurance brokers, shipyards, shipping companies and private inland water shipowners from the Netherlands as well as other countries in Europe. Tim is fluent in the modern foreign languages (English, German and French). He works together with experienced and specialised lawyers and experts in the Netherlands and other European countries.
